SPICE, Students Participating In Chemical Education, is an organization at the University of Wisconsin-Madison of trained undergraduate students who perform chemistry demonstration programs with the aim of interesting elementary and middle school students in chemistry and science by showing them cool experiments and demonstrations. SPICE also participates in hands-on activities, Family Science Nights at local elementary schools, and National Chemistry Week. In an average year SPICE reaches out to more than 3,500 members of the local Wisconsin communities.
